In 1862 a little book called «Norsk-Russisk Ordbok og Parleur» was published in the city of Bergen. The book was unknown to Russicists until it was rediscovered in 1972. The book is the first attempt at a manual of Russian for Norwegians. It was also recommended for the use of people trading on Finnmark, and that brings to mind the «Pomor trade».
