Joseph Collins (1866–1950) was an American neurologist. He was co-founder to the NewYork Neurological Institute.
First published in 1923, the original blurb reads: “This series of studies by a distinguished neurologist and psychiatrist, who is also an accomplished writer, will stir clamorous approval and dissent. But none who read it will ever view the most modern literature from quite the same angle as before. This book breaks new ground and establishes a rationale of criticism which is at once intensely interesting and valuable.” Today it can be read in its historical context.
