for SSA soloists, SAB chorus and piano Here is perfect material for youth choirs on the look-out for something that is both light-hearted and sophisticated. The delicious words of the original 17th-century love poem have been cleverly subverted by some asides from the composer, transporting the text and its sentiments straight into the 21st century. With an easy-going jazz style, witty, charming words, and an SAB scoring, this is a top-notch setting for young mixed choirs.
