Dollie Henry is an award-winning dance practitioner who has straddled a career of over 45 years as a performer, choreographer, director, creative producer and educator, and is recognized as one of the most formidable exponents of jazz dance in the UK. Her vast career crosses musical theatre, concert dance, music production, film and television. As founder and artistic director of the jazz theatre company Body of People (BOP), she continues to create original jazz theatre repertoire and commissioned theatre projects. Dollie is a dance adviser for the AOLE Welsh Educational board, creative consultant with CGO institute and Audition Circle. Dollie is an Associate Teacher of ISTD and a Patron of IDTA, The Hammond school and Ignite Dance Theatre Company. CEO of Jazz Theatre Arts UK and was awarded an MBE for Services to Dance in the 2023 Queens Platinum Birthday Honours list. Paul Jenkins has a professional career spanning 40 years as a jazz musician (trumpet), composer, arranger, music producer and educator, creating musical scores and compositions for television, film, dance and musical theatre. His work spans all musical genres and he continues to teach jazz trumpet, practical recording and music technology workshops throughout the UK and internationally. Together with Dollie he is co-artistic director and musical director/composer of Body of People (BOP) and CEO of Jazz Theatre Arts UK.
