He is Academic Editor of Sport in Society (Taylor and Francis Ltd.) and has guest edited a number of leading journals in the field. He is Series Editor (with Dr. Allan Edwards) of Foundations of Sport Management (a new Routledge series) and has published extensively in the social, political and historical significance of sport.
