In the mid-sixties, armed with desire and passion, M (aka Michael Chow) established his vision of bridging the East with the West through the cuisine of China in a participatory theater of art, architecture, and design. Throughout five decades, he developed close relationships with many of the giants of contemporary art, including Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, Ed Ruscha, and Keith Haring.
