Harry Harris has received 24 industry awards over the course of his long career, including two British Sports Journalist of the Year awards, a British Variety Club of Great Britain Silver Heart for his “Contribution to Sports Journalism” and two Sports Story of the Year awards. He is also the only journalist to have won the Sports Story of the Year award twice. He has appeared as an analyst on virtually every TV news and sports programme going and has written for the Daily Mail, the Daily Mirror, the Daily Express, the Daily Star, the Sunday Express and the Star on Sunday. One of the most prolific writers of best-selling football books, his titles include the UK and US best seller Pele: His Life and Times; Gullit: The Chelsea Diary; All The Way José; and Wayne Rooney: The Story of Football’s Wonder Kid. He has also penned biographical works on Roman Abramovich, Jürgen Klinsmann, Sir Alex Ferguson, José Mourinho, Terry Venables, Gianfranco Zola, Paul Merson, Glenn Hoddle and George Best, to name but a few. In addition, Harry has directed documentaries on Ossie Ardiles, Kenny Sansom, Kerry Dixon and Ron “Chopper” Harris.
