- Pointers direct students to comments that include on-the-spot reminders and warnings about common pitfalls.
- Highlighted section and figure references within the text are shown using boldface type when referring to numbered sections (e.g., Section 2.1) and the corresponding font when referring to numbered figures (e.g., Figure 1).
