Biographical note
Karl West is an illustrator based in Weymouth, Dorset. His studio is five minutes from the beach. He lives with his wife and his tiny work companion, a chihuahua called Chewi. Karl has been illustrating professionally for almost 10 years and has been with his agent, Astound for 8 years. His passion is in illustrating monsters, aliens, dragons and anything where he can use his imagination.Big Cat Phonics for Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised has been developed in collaboration with Wandle Learning Trust and Little Sutton Primary School. It comprises classroom resources to support the SSP programme and a range of phonic readers that together provide a consistent and highly effective approach to teaching phonics.
