Biographical note

Tim Dowley (Original author) Dr Tim Dowley is a historian and a prolific author and editor of Bible resources for adults and children. He holds a bachelor's degree in History and a doctorate in Church History, both from the University of Manchester, England. He has written a number of children's stories and books onbiblical subjects and the history of Christianity, as well as works onmusic and literature. Tim has traveled extensively, particularly in Israel, Turkey and other biblical lands. He lives in South London with his wife and family. Deborah Lock (Text by) Deborah Lock has been writing and editing children's non-fiction, fiction and educational titles for more than 25 years. She is dedicated to developing products that engage and inspire children, instil a love of reading and lifelong learning, and share the Christian faith. She is a licensed lay minister at her local parish church, leading worship and actively involved with children and youth work, and enjoys singing, drama and dance (which comes in very useful when co-ordinating the children-led Nativity service each year).
