Ron Ellis started life as a librarian, became an agent and DJ during the Merseybeat days, and then Promotions Manager at Warner Bros. Records. After a host of various jobs, he is currently the football correspondent for the Southport Champion, lectures for Liverpool University, and does the odd bit of acting, photography, public speaking, broadcasting and DJ-ing.
