Biographical note
Having taught in a big inner-city college, Judith Cutler is now a part-time lecturer for Birmingham University. She has written a number of short stories, most notably for the BBC Short Story slot, and is the secretary for the CWA.
On a year's sabbatical from teaching, Sophie Rivers is a volunteer for the Big Brum Bookfest - a new literary festival. But someone is determined to sabotage it.
