Biographical note

Mark R. Henry is a lifelong student of military history and an experienced re-enactor of many periods. He served in the US Army as a signals officer from 1981-90, in Germany, Texas and Korea. He holds a BA degree in History and currently works in the US Army museum system.

Darko Pavlovic lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia. A trained architect, he is now a full-time illustrator and writer, specializing in militaria. Darko has illustrated a number of books for Osprey, and has also written and illustrated titles for the Men-at-Arms series on the Austrian army of the 19th century.
