Em & Friends makes products that speak to the human condition with honesty, humor, and heart. Founded by writer and illustrator Emily McDowell, the brand collaborates with amazing artists and writers such as Lisa Congdon and Elizabeth Gilbert to create greeting cards and gifts for the relationships we really have—and to help people connect when they're not sure what to say. In 2018, Emily McDowell Studio (renamed Em & Friends) joined forces with the kindred spirits at Knock Knock, another women-founded brand, uniting as two sister brands under one kick-ass umbrella.
