She has translated Stendhal, Jules Verne, Marcel Ayme, Violette Leduc, Emmanuelle Pagano and Joao Gilberto Noll, among others. In 2017 she was commended for the Scott Moncrieff Prize for her translation of "Heloise Is Bald" by Emilie de Turkheim (Jonathan Cape) and has recently been longlisted for the International Booker Prize for their translation of Emmanuelle Pagano's Faces on the Tip of my Tongue.
